Presidents’ Letter

The past couple months letters to the editor make me feel as if the club is changing its direction to what we experienced several years ago. I dislike finger pointing and accusations. Some of our reading material and letters to the editor are fodder for 2nd graders. I will never take the right away from anyone for free speech and the right to editorialize, but how far does our club want these banterings to continue? These discussions should be between the individuals and not the entire membership. I ask a rhetorical question: what has the club achieved by these printings? We have a very diverse membership of varying degrees of athletics. We do not need and should not ridicule anyone for their effort or lack of effort. We need to show a positive attitude toward anyone who is bettering their life through any type of physical activity.
