(Exactly two months later)

The top picture was taken on May 1, 1997,
just a few days after a record snowstorm which
dumped a reported 5 feet of snow at Barr Camp.
I got 2 feet in my driveway — what a workout!

I was thinking it would never melt but just
two months later it was all but gone. This started
my quest to track the Barr Trail snow free date.
